ADON/Infection Preventionist

Job Location: Fort Myers, Florida

Job Summary:

Page Rehabilitation, a leading provider of short and long-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced ADON/Infection Preventionist to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality care and infection prevention. ADON/Infection Preventionist Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures to prevent and control the spread of infections

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action

• Provide guidance and training to staff on infection prevention and control practices

• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and other healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with industry standards

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork

ADON/Infection Preventionist Requirements:

• Prior experience in a long-term care setting, preferably as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Infection Preventionist

• Current RN license in the state of Florida

• Strong leadership and management skills with experience in interdisciplinary team management
