Description of Work This position is located at Greene Correctional Institution in Greene County, NC and houses minimum custody male offenders. Reporting directly to the Correctional Warden, the Correctional Associate Warden of Operations is responsible for assisting the Warden in the total operations of the facility. Additionally, this position has direct management and supervisory responsibility for the operations of several critical functions to include the general day-to-day and the 24-hour operation of the facility. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Ensure the safety and security of the housing of male offenders housed at a minimum custody correctional institution and ensuring the safety of the staff and general public. Working closely with supervisors to provide guidance and direction on prison policies and providing direction and structure for the work of the Correctional Captains, Correctional Lieutenants, Correctional Sergeants Correctional Officers, and support staff.
