Regional HSE Manager

Regional HSE Manager salary range: $85,000 - $150,000. Job Description Manages organizational HSE and compliance with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations in the Area of Responsibility (AOR). Partners with Sr. Operations to implement regional HSE initiatives by providing technical assistance in the identification, evaluation, and control of workplace hazards. Monitors and evaluates sites in AOR to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Ensures the HSE agenda is included and aligned with Regional initiatives. Communicates and provides guidance to Regional operations leadership and staff. Implements standard HSE support offerings using common tools and training. Manages reporting and KPIs of operations in AOR. Assists with Claims Management process for injuries in AOR. Monitors and provides expertise on the Logics Incident Module as a Super User of the system. Contributes to the Budget Process. Manages, mentors, and develops Campus Safety Managers and Field Safety Personnel. Performs Compliance Audits. Ensures corrective actions are identified, implemented, and effective. Coaches Senior Operations Personnel on proactive safety measures and visible safety leadership. Identifies SIP locations in AOR and partners to implement strong and effective improvements. Supports Business Continuity Management in AOR. Manages Start-Ups in AOR. Provides subject matter expertise to Program Management team when necessary. Primary contact for Critical Near Calls and Regulatory Agencies. Identifies improvement opportunities and supports the continuous improvement process. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene, or related field (required). 5+ years of experience managing HSE in an operational or functional support role (required). 1+ year of warehouse/distribution/logistics experience (preferred). Industrial Hygiene (CIH) certification (preferred). Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification (preferred). Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) certification (preferred).
