Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 42 beds Number of Staff – 40 core staff members Type of staff: Day Shift – (1 charge, 6-7 RN, 3-4 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) Night Shift – (1 charge, 6-7 RN, 3-4 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) Patient Ratios – 6:1 Type of equipment – Glucometer, Welch/Allyn vital machines, hoyer lift, wound vacs, chest tubes, baxter pumps, epidural PCA, telemetry monitors, kangaroo pumps, BiPap, peg tubes, blood warmer EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Positive attitude BLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. 2yrs Med/Surg experience ACLS

Assist with PICC line placement, Chest tube management, wound care, tube feedings Initiate IV access, infuse blood products, TPN, Heparin
