Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a patient service center in Madison, NC. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and providing customer service across a varied schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Process billing information and collect patient payments
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- Reliable transportation
