Location: Upper East Side
Compensation: $17 + tip, guaranteed minimum $23
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time | Must be available to work evenings, nights & weekends
Reports To: Manager/Shift Lead

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Customer Experience:

• Greet every customer with warmth, energy, and kindness
• Provide strong, confident eye contact and engaged body language
• Share the story behind Mimi’s and walk guests through the full experience
• Offer insight into our frozen yogurt - how it’s made, what’s in it, and why it’s special
• Provide knowledge and backstory on our curated toppings
• Offer samples and guide customers through flavor and topping choices
• Operate the POS register quickly and accurately
• Thank customers genuinely and make them feel valued

Operations & Cleanliness:

• Restock toppings, spoons, napkins, cups, and frozen yogurt throughout the day
• Clean tables, table bases, fridges, topping areas, benches, walls and floors regularly
• Sweep inside and outside the shop; clean windows and front door for a polished look
• Clean frozen yogurt machines at end-of-day (training provided)
• Follow all opening, closing, midday, and cleaning checklists with care
• Help maintain overall organization of the FOH space
• Bring up/down stock or supplies from storage as needed

Team & Culture:

• Support your team and help keep operations smooth and positive
• Always set up the next shift for success—especially when closing
• Follow Mimi’s customer service and operational standards
• Wear Mimi’s merch with pride and follow all DOH and internal hygiene requirements
• Arrive on time and ready to work each scheduled shift

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and dependable
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and navigate stairs during shift
• Flexible availability for evenings, nights, and weekends
• DOH Food Protection Certificate is a plus
