CornerStone Staffing is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst for an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing organization in Texas. This position is ideal for someone with strong pricing, margin, and data analysis experience who enjoys working with large datasets and turning complex information into actionable business recommendations.

Pricing Analyst

Location: Flower Mound, TX | 100% Onsite
Pay: $25.00–$27.00/hour, BOE
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

We are looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented, dependable, results-driven, and comfortable taking ownership of their work. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a continuous-improvement mindset who can balance recurring responsibilities with changing business priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze pricing, margins, costs, and profitability across products, customers, and business segments.

• Review large datasets to identify pricing discrepancies, trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Perform margin analysis, cost modeling, profitability analysis, and competitive pricing analysis.

• Maintain and validate pricing data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Develop reports and analyses to support pricing decisions and management recommendations.

• Manage recurring pricing processes while responding to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.

• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Engineering, and Customer Service.

• Present findings, trends, and recommendations clearly to management.

• Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, reporting, and overall data integrity.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive business and pricing information.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:

  • XLOOKUP

  • INDEX/MATCH

  • Power Query

  • Pivot Tables

  • Complex formulas

• Experience analyzing and manipulating large datasets.

• Experience with pricing analysis, margin analysis, and/or cost modeling.

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy.

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable presenting analytical findings and recommendations to management.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in pricing, commercial operations, finance, product management, or business analytics.

• Experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, aftermarket parts, or distribution environments.

• Experience with ERP systems and pricing databases.

• Power BI or other data visualization experience.

• Knowledge of dealer/channel pricing structures and margin management.
