Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of complex cath lab experience and a valid CA RN license in hand at time of submission. Requirements Active CA RN license required and must be in hand at time of submission BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS also required 2 years of cath lab experience preferred due to case complexity Experience with medications including antihypertensives and IV vasopressors preferred Experience with procedural sedation administration/monitoring and thrombolytics preferred Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring experience preferred Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias and ventilator management skills preferred 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Responsibilities Acute care hospital setting in the Cath Lab unit Diagnostic cardiac cath lab performing procedures such as left and right heart catheterization and IABP placement/removal Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Required to work 4 weekend shifts per contract On-call responsibilities required based on departmental needs with a 30-minute response time, averaging 10 call shifts within a 6-week period including one weekend No floating required between units Uses Epic for charting Provide direct patient care in a diagnostic cardiac cath lab setting IR experience is a plus Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) RTO must be submitted upfront at time of submission; limited flexibility for additional time off once contracted Scrub color for RNs is navy blue; Cath Lab scrubs are provided Facility does not accept Nursys or background check hits Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel employee and must not live within 50 miles of the facility Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius First-time travelers are not accepted for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
