Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active License Required Certifications: ACLS Required Must-Have: IABP and Impella experience Interventional Cath Peripheral/Coronary experience Description: Data Collection and Unit Information. Number of Beds: 2 Cath Labs. Number of Staff: 2 monitor techs, 2 RNs, 2 techs. Patient Ratios: 1:1. Type of Equipment: IABP, Impella, stents, balloons, IVUS, FFR, Ultrasound, EMR. Typical Procedures Performed: Heart caths, interventions, pacemakers, AICD, Watchman, EP ablations, peripheral venous/arterial. Best Personality Fit: Team-oriented with a strong focus on patient care. Floating Area: Possibility in IR and ICU if competency. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy. Unit Guidelines/Policies: 30-minute response time for callbacks. Weekends and On-Call: Every other weekend on call; every other night on call during the week. General Comments: 2 positions available.
