Your Responsibilities

• Performing in-depth patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues either independently or in collaboration with physicians based on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your professional licensing
• Engaging in follow-up care and managing chronic conditions
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Accurately documenting all patient encounters within electronic medical record systems

Education Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent designation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
