Employed Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon | Commencement & Relocation | Las Cruces, NM (2nd largest city)

MountainView Medical Group, affiliated with MountainView Regional Medical Center is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with Trauma Fellowship to join an established, high-demand practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico . Serving as the healthcare hub for a primary service area of over 225,000+ residents across Southern New Mexico, this position offers a seamless transition with immediate patient volume.

About Your Work:

• Employed, full-time, well-respected practice
• Join 5 physicians and 2 APPs (1 current Traumatologist)
• Anticipated call 1:4 covering a single hospital
• Level III trauma 22-bed ED (48,000 ED visits in 2025)
• 168-bed hospital with 8 modern OR suites, dedicated blocks, MAKO availability, high-definition fluoroscopy, efficient and tenured OR team with First Assist, and 24/7 anesthesia coverage.
• Athena EMR + Suki AI scribe technology
• Fully-equipped clinic with experienced support team; clinic adjacent to medical center
• Established referral network supported by 18 physician clinics, a 10-bed freestanding ED, 3 urgent care centers, and dedicated outreach/marketing support.
• Robust multidisciplinary support such as IP/OP therapy, MSK radiologists, Infusion therapy, Interventional Pain Management, PM&R, and athletic partnerships with New Mexico State University.
