Job Title: Assembler

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical devices and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools in accordance with detailed work instructions and assembly drawings.
• Read, interpret, and follow assembly drawings, blueprints, schematics, and written work procedures to ensure accurate and consistent builds.
• Inspect incoming materials and components for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications before use in production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free work area to support safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Utilize electronic test equipment, such as meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies, to test finished sub-assemblies and verify proper operation.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies down to the component level to identify and resolve issues with wiring, mechanical fit, or electrical performance.
• Monitor required inventory levels for parts and materials used in assembly and promptly notify Inventory Control of any inventory shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide back-up support for shipping by preparing finished products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation as needed.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in machine operating or assembly roles.
• Hands-on experience as a machine operator or assembler
• Ability to assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical products using hand tools and power tools.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding assembly drawings, blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owings Mills, MD.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Owings Mills,MD.
