Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: New York license required in hand Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Strong experience in patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 - Charge experience required - Epic charting experience required - Must be able to float Description: MUST HAVE NEW YORK LICENSE IN HAND – NO EXCEPTIONS. Seeking a Registered Nurse for a high-volume Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. This position requires the ability to manage complex patient care and oversee patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7. Candidates must have prior charge experience. Experience with EPIC charting is required. Floating to different units will be required. The unit handles a diverse range of patient diagnoses. Skills in telemetry monitoring and rapid response protocols are essential. Candidates should be proficient in blood product administration and central line management. Other necessary skills include starting IVs, wound care, and administering oxygen. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to expand their nursing experience in a fast-paced environment.
