Emergency Department Technician II Franklin Hospital

The Emergency Department Technician II Franklin Hospital, role assists the healthcare team in the completion of specific patient care tasks. Upon successful completion of an IV course, performs IVs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant OR completion of a National Registry EMT-B or EMT-A course, OR completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with 160 hours of clinical experience required.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required or EMT-B or EMT-A or Certified Medical Assistant. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: N/A.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
• Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Training in phlebotomy and performing EKGs.

The pay range for this position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
