Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Carlin, Nevada. The work setting allows for collaborative practice among a supportive team of physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant. We primarily partner with private insurance carriers, ensuring a smooth experience for patients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and goals, developing tailored treatment plans that may involve a combination of manual therapy, modalities, exercise, and education.
• Manage a patient load of 2-3 individuals per hour, monitoring and adjusting treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Implement innovative and cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility and reducing reliance on medications or surgical options.
• Facilitate patient motivation by using encouragement and positive reinforcement, thus promoting optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to evaluate patient outcomes and align on multi-disciplinary care strategies.
• Regularly document patient care services and progress in compliance with best practices and facility standards.
• Lead and participate in fitness and wellness-oriented programs that emphasize injury prevention and health enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, and performance enhancement. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the state of Nevada with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy, with demonstrated skills in manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as WebPT, to efficiently document patient care.

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proven success in developing and implementing comprehensive care plans.
• Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and assist them in achieving their goals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a robust benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and continuing education allowances.
