IT Asset Manager

Description

Our client is looking for an IT Asset Manager to assist internal employees. Our client is a third-party subservice company focused on providing our clients and their customers with a best-in-class mortgage experience.

Duration: 6 month to extend or convert

Day to Day Duties:

- Would manage inventory and assets for laptops, thin clients, all IT hard assets for 800 people.

- Be able to answer questions like: What is our inventory? When do we need to order new laptops?

- Make sure facility is good, Is the UPS system working? If we had a power outage, what is our plan?

- Checking temperature of our network closest, needs to be 65 degrees for example

- Will be shipping and receiving laptops and assets

- Who has what laptop and monitors?

- Keep track of our network printers, copiers, etc. make sure they are serviced

- Need to run firmware updates

- Inventory management.

- Will need to be OK dong some grunt work, like shipping, etc. when someone needs a new headset.

- Send Box and shipping label

- Need to understand ITIL standards for asset management

- Inventory management, work with finance to replace 15 laptops for example

- Aegis Apricorn external hard drives

- They don’t have a data center, they use Evolve IP and they use their data center.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Mill, SC.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fort Mill,SC.
