Get ready to unearth your true potential and dig into the exciting world of HEI Civil! We are looking to hire an experienced Survey Technician to join our team! Core Responsibilities Field Measurements: Operate tools like robotic total stations, GPS receivers, and levels to gather terrain data. Construction Staking: Set out stakes, flags, and marks to guide excavation, foundations, and utility installations. Data Processing: Enter field notes and measurements into computers for analysis by licensed surveyors. Blueprint Reading: Study civil and architectural drawings to verify planned layout dimensions. Site Research: Look up historical deeds, property corners, and boundary records. Education A high school diploma or GED is standard for entry-level roles. High school math classes like algebra, geometry, and trigonometry are very helpful. Licenses A valid driver's license is usually required to drive to different work sites.
