Pay Rate: $26.50 - $31.50 per hour
1st and 2nd shift (7:00- 3:30pm OR 3:30pm- 12:00am)

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of related experience
• Experience in sheet-metal and/or HVAC Industry a Huge Plus
• Requires a demonstrated knowledge in areas of basic electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience in designing and building tooling and fabricated metal devices
• Must possess verifiable experience in problem solving, project planning and implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Tool and Die Machinist.

Job Duties

• Design, build, and repair: Shop Tooling, Fabricated Fixtures, Test tooling, and fixtures; utilize blueprints and Design Sketches
• Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures
• Thorough knowledge of the strengths and properties of materials used
• Knowledge and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in an efficient manner
• Assist in training production workers in the safe and proper operation of shop tooling and fixtures

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

As a Tool and Die Machinist you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures.
