Finance Director - US Commercial FP&A Specialty

AbbVie seeks a Finance Director to serve as strategic finance partner to the US Specialty & Eye Care leadership team. The role oversees financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for a $2.4 billion portfolio while leading a team of eight finance professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, and monthly close processes for $2.4 billion portfolio
- Develop financial insights and recommendations on revenue trends, market dynamics, and investment effectiveness
- Monitor performance against commitments and key metrics; identify risks and opportunities
- Evaluate strategic initiatives including launches, pricing, and resource allocation decisions
- Lead and develop team of eight finance professionals with coaching and succession planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 10+ years progressive finance leadership in FP&A or commercial finance
- Proven ability to support senior leadership and influence business decisions
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent executive communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated team leadership experience in dynamic environments
- Cross-functional collaboration and influence without direct authority
