Overview MRI Technologist with a radiology specialty (MRI) opportunity in Portland, Oregon. Travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Start date: 10/05/2026. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,259–$2,383 per week Guaranteed hours: 24 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) Location: Portland, Oregon, in a short-term acute care hospital setting Travel assignment with dedicated assignment support Responsibilities Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images per physician orders and established protocols Position patients, select coils, and optimize imaging parameters to produce high-quality MR images Prepare, administer, and monitor contrast media as required; monitor patient safety throughout procedures Verify patient information, document findings, measurements, and image quality; present results to physicians as directed Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to coordinate imaging workflows and patient care Ensure compliance with safety standards, privacy regulations, and regulatory requirements; maintain equipment and perform routine quality checks Requirements Education: Certificate or diploma from an MRI program or an Associate’s degree in Radiology; Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred Licenses/Certifications: Active state Radiologic Technologist license; ARRT-R, ARRT-MR, or ARMRIT certification required Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a rotating night shift schedule Benefits and Support Weekly pay range: $2,259–$2,383 per week Guaranteed hours: 24 hours per week Assignment duration: 13 weeks Shift schedule: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) Travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
