Compensation and Schedule Full‑time, part‑time, and per diem opportunities available Same day pay Employee referral bonus 30, 60, or 90 day contracts available Weekend incentives available $45–$60/hr salary range (all inclusive) Responsibilities Assist the physician in evaluating the patient’s level of function. Assess home environment and identify equipment needs related to speech/language function. Identify functional speech deficits and establish goals and plan of care to improve patient’s function, revising as necessary. Perform and complete recertifications, resumption‑of‑care, and discharge. Complete comprehensive OASIS assessments and associated paperwork in accordance with agency policy. Instruct patient and family members, as well as other health team members, in methods of assisting the patient in improving communication skills. Recommend communication devices/aids as indicated. Periodically re‑evaluate and upgrade the patient’s program to maximize functional improvement; record and report progress and any changes to the physician. Confect with the family, referring physician, and other agency professional staff to obtain information to promote coordinated, efficient, and quality patient care. Perform and submit required documentation of patient’s evaluations, plan of care, clinical notes, and progress reports, summaries along with changes in orders. Return all patient visit notes to the next scheduled workday, not to exceed forty‑eight (48) hours. Maintain necessary statistical and billing data. Keep abreast of changes in speech pathology practice and theory; contribute to the field through research, presentations, and in‑services. Attend and contribute to in‑services, clinical records reviews, meetings required to ensure coordinated and comprehensive plans of care for the patients of the agency. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program approved by the American Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Licensed in the state of practice with board certification as a Speech Pathologist. Proof of current CPR training.
