TITLE: Health Maintenance Worker I (Part-time) DEPARTMENT: Facilities Management\n CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt\n DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform cleaning functions in Health Clinic to maintain an attractive, sanitary and orderly environment contributing to patient comfort, employee morale and staff satisfaction. * Complete cleaning details according to schedule and maintain established departmental standards. * Understand, demonstrate, and assist with procedures regarding Infection Control and Safety. * Maintain work area in the condition required by health care standards. * Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies\/paper products in closets to make sure properly supplied and ready for work. * Report equipment and fixture repairs immediately to the Facilities Manager. * Record and report immediately to Facilities Manager if property damage has occurred and if unusual activities have transpired within and around the buildings and grounds. * Other duties as assigned and accepts other work projects independently.\n REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma or G.E.D and one year experience. * Must possess a valid driver's license. * Must be flexible and willing to work hours as specified. * Mature, responsible person. * Ability to work with limited supervision and set priorities independently. * Must be willing to obtain training and certification for maintaining health care facilities. * Will work in areas where small amount of blood may be present, as well as infectious agents. * Must successfully complete background investigations.\n SUPERVISION: * Supervised by the Facilities Manager.\n HOURS AND SALARY: ","
