Occupational Therapist – Acute Care Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 4x10-Hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00), with weekend rotation required: 1 weekend every 4 weeks.

The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations and treatment for patients in a short-term acute care setting. They will work across various units, including Acute Care, Medical, ICU, and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. This role demands flexibility and a strong ability to adapt to various patient needs and diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with diverse diagnoses, including multi-trauma, orthopedic conditions, and neurological impairments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective treatment plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes and goals.
• Utilize clinical skills in acute care settings effectively.
• Maintain productivity standards while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy License.
• Prior acute care experience is required.
• Experience with evaluations and treatment planning in rehabilitation is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills are essential.
