This role offers a unique opportunity to provide essential outreach services to individuals living in unhoused situations and support them on their journey to recovery and mental health treatment.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct outreach services, spending 80% of the time in the field and 20% in the office.
Provide immediate support and guidance to individuals entering recovery and mental health treatment.
Engage in conversations with individuals about seeking treatment or other services.
Build rapport with those who are unhoused and have substance use and/or mental health disorders.
Offer direct and indirect peer support services and emotional support to clients and families.
Assist with transportation of clients and referrals to treatment facilities.
Provide on-the-spot assistance with Narcan and/or CPR when needed.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license.
Direct personal experience living with mental illness and/or addiction and recovery, with a willingness to self-disclose for the purpose of education and providing hope.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel.

Preferences:

Peer Certification or willingness to obtain within the first six months of hire.
