Clinical Supervisor

Position Summary:The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision to clinical staff and participates in administrative activities to support the program and service delivery.Responsibilities:Program Administrative ActivitiesAssists in establishing standards and procedures for service deliveryProvides clinical and administrative supervision to assigned clinical staffOversees credentialing and license status of assigned staffAssists with case record reviews for quality and appropriateness of service deliveryAttends community meetings in relationship to service delivery as neededWorks with Clinical Utilization Manager to ensure quality clinical services are provided and that clinical documentation completed by staff meets agency and funder requirementsAttends staff meetings, clinical team meetings, Management Team meetings, and Quality Improvement meetingsMaintains a small caseload and productivity of 30% reportable/billable servicesSupervises Clinical StaffAssigns, supervises, and monitors clinical activities of supervisees through individual and group supervision, review of clinical records, and review of monthly productivity reports with each direct report to ensure performance meets agency productivity and documentation requirementsHelps with recruitment and selection of clinical staffOrients and trains new employeesProvides on the job training and facilitates other staff development opportunitiesEvaluates staff performance annuallyDevelops and implements corrective action plans with staff to address performance issues, as indicatedEmbraces utilization of Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) as applicable to populations served and commits to implementation and supervision of EBPs in accordance with fidelity requirementsPerform other duties as assignedJob Requirements:The following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of this position. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision and skill.Non-physical requirements:EducationMaster’s degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or a related field leading to eligibility for clinical licensureExperienceTwo years of post-master’s experience working with children, families, adults in a professional outpatient setting1-2 years of experience providing clinical supervision or in related on the job educationAdditional certifications with special populations (children, older adults, e.g.) preferredTraining and certification in multiple EBPs desiredSpecial SkillsBilingual & biliterate in English & Spanish preferredPossess and utilize effective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to be self-motivated, work independently and as a team memberAbility to represent the agency in a professional manner within the communityGood understanding of Catholic Charities guidelines, policies, and proceduresLicensure, Registration, CertificationMental Health Counselor (LMHC), Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW), or Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Washington StateMeet eligibility requirements for or have current credential as Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS)Valid Washington driver’s license and minimum required liability insurance for WA StateMust be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities’ liability insurance providerEmployment is conditional upon:Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when requiredWork Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmWage Range: $97,520 - $108,120 per yearRelocation Assistance: up to $5000 for relocations over 50 milesBenefits:13 paid holidays, 12 days of vacation, 12 days of sick leave per yearHealth insurance including medical & prescription coverage, with optional dental and vision insurance plans.
