Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00). Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool. This position requires floating between Med/Surg and IMC units, and candidates must be comfortable handling patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6. The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in an acute care hospital setting. Responsibilities Provide nursing care in the Med/Surg and IMC units. Manage patients with various critical conditions such as respiratory distress, septic shock, and myocardial infarction. Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience. Minimum 2 years of experience on an IMC unit in a hospital setting. Clinical certifications: BLS and ACLS are required. Recent experience with the EPIC charting system is mandatory. Flu shot and 2-step PPD required with no exceptions.
