Forklift Operator – Merchandise Inspector

Our client, a leading logistics and warehouse company, is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator with strong merchandise inspection and inventory control skills to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in quality inspections, physical inventory counts, product verification, and safe forklift operation.

Position: Forklift Operator – Merchandise Inspector

Location: Mile 9 (El Gato Road area)

Pay: $14.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Perform 100% detailed inspections of incoming and outgoing merchandise

• Conduct accurate piece-by-piece physical counts and verify quantities

• Verify product information, including brands, models, serial numbers, and other identifying details

• Inspect expiration dates when applicable

• Identify, document, and report product damage using photos and inspection reports

• Assist with inventory counts, material organization, and warehouse operations

• Safely operate a forklift to move and stage materials throughout the warehouse

What We're Looking For

• Previous forklift operating experience (certification is a plus)

• Experience in merchandise inspection, quality control, inventory auditing, or warehouse receiving

• Experience performing physical inventory counts and product verification

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to document discrepancies, damages, shortages, and inventory issues

• Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
