Puesto: Jefe de equipo de Retail (A tiempo parcial) Ubicación: Kansas City, MO # de Puestos: 1 Comercio minorista No Exentos Gerente de Operaciones Minoristas y Subgerente Bajo la supervisión del personal de gestión de Retail, el Líder del Equipo de Retail es responsable de ayudar en la gestión diaria de todas las tiendas de regalos y locales de Zoo y Acuario. Este puesto también ayuda en algunos aspectos de la supervisión del personal minorista a tiempo parcial y temporal. Funciones Ayuda a los responsables de comercio minorista en la gestión diaria de todas las tiendas de regalos y puntos de venta al por menor, incluyendo: Ayudar con tareas diarias, como abrir y cerrar procedimientos, cajero, atención al cliente, limpieza, almacenamiento y organización de mercancía. Asistencia en la recepción y etiquetado de toda la mercancía. Ayudando con el proceso físico de inventario y el control de inventario. Ayuda en ciertos aspectos de la supervisión sobre los miembros del equipo de comercio minorista a tiempo parcial y estacional, incluyendo: Ayuda en la formación y el desarrollo continuo del personal. Organizar pausas del personal y supervisar los proyectos diarios. Garantizar el cumplimiento de las políticas del personal, incluyendo un servicio al cliente de calidad y políticas y procedimientos de control de caja.

Este puesto puede en ocasiones solicitarse para realizar otras funciones o proyectos especiales asignados, que sean lo mejor para el Zoo y Acuario de Kansas City.
Todos los empleados deben ser capaces de desempeñar satisfactoriamente las funciones esenciales de este puesto y, a solicitud, se realizarán adaptaciones razonables para permitir que los empleados con discapacidad puedan desempeñar las funciones esenciales de su trabajo, salvo que haya dificultades excesivas.

Se prefiere el diploma de secundaria o equivalente. Se requiere experiencia previa en retail, inventario y control de caja. Se prefieren habilidades informáticas sólidas, incluyendo Microsoft Office. Fuertes habilidades de comunicación interpersonal y escrita. Puede mover equipos de hasta 50 libras, con o sin ayuda. Debe ser capaz de trabajar con un horario flexible, incluyendo fines de semana, festivos y ocasionales horas por la tarde, en cualquier extremo meteorológico.
