Associate Designer - Girls Apparel

We are a leading children’s apparel company engaged in licensed and private label business with major retailers across the USA.
Job Description
- Support the design and development of seasonal apparel collections for the Big Girls Walmart licensed business
- Research current fashion, color, graphic, and market trends relevant to the target customer
- Create and update apparel designs, colorways, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Collaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development teams
- Help develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines, retailer needs, and seasonal trends
- Review samples and provide design feedback throughout the development process
- Organize and maintain design files, artwork, and seasonal project information
- Assist with approvals and revisions to ensure designs meet brand and customer expectations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children’s or retail apparel
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel construction
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Licensed apparel experience is a plus
- Must be located in NYC
- Position is primarily onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays
