Position Title - Workday Business Systems Analyst Location - 2100 Third Avenue, Anoka, Minnesota, 55303 Duration - 2-3 months of contract to hire (Fulltime/Permenent) Position Mode of interview-Virtual/Inperson Client – Direct Client This Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite Job Senior Business Systems Analyst – Technical/Functional Focus The BSA is a separate role and should be more technically oriented. Lindsey described this person as essentially the bridge between “procurement speak and IT speak.” Understand Workday Finance business processes related to Procurement . Assess whether current Workday processes/configuration are set up effectively. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Translate business requirements from Procurement into technical requirements for IT. Explain technical issues/functionality back to Procurement and County departments. Work collaboratively with Procurement, IT and end-user departments. Provide some functional/configuration-level Workday support rather than being purely a requirements BA. Help troubleshoot procurement-related Workday issues. The Client currently has four supplier punch-out integrations , and the BSA will work with IT to make sure those integrations operate correctly and assist with ongoing troubleshooting/fine-tuning. The BSA will also support Workday's semiannual releases , reviewing procurement-related release notes and conducting associated testing. Releases generally occur around March and September. Kathie clarified that although this is called a BSA role, their BSAs tend to operate somewhat in the technical/configuration space because of the complexity and interconnected nature of ERP systems. The County has Workday Finance capabilities such as General Ledger and AP already live . Support is organized by function, with functional leads for areas such as AP and Chart of Accounts/GL, along with Finance BSAs supporting business processes and technology. Procurement already has a functional lead but does not currently have a dedicated BSA , which is the gap this resource is intended to fill. Performance / Deliverable Expectations The County wants tangible evidence that the additional resources are generating value. The contractors should therefore have defined milestones, deliverables and measurable outputs . Lindsey mentioned potentially tracking work through daily/weekly/monthly metrics, while Kathie emphasized tangible deliverables that can demonstrate completed work and help the County determine how to support the function sustainably in the future. Minimum Qualifications or Experience For Role Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, and/or related field. Experience supporting enterprise systems and complex business processes. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for collaboration across the organization. Experience working with vendors and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications or Experience For Role Candidates may demonstrate the following to further strengthen their proposal: Systems and application software experience including using database tools, word processing, and spreadsheets. Experience with procurement and financial ERP software including systems analysis procedures, design, and implementation. Experience with process mapping and technology projects. Experience with Project Management; training or certification. Experience with M365 tools (including SharePoint, MS Lists, PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Visio, Teams, etc.), SQL Server Management Studio, PowerShell, Smartsheet, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
