Transportation Aide

The Transport Aide's primary responsibility is to assist with transporting residents to and from our facility in a pleasant and helpful manner. We want all those who stay with us to have a great experience!

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Assist staff members in moving residents on and off beds to the appropriate transportation device.
• Use a variety of resident supporting equipment according to nursing or physician instructions.
• Use transportation devices (wheelchairs, etc) in accordance to established safety practices.
• Ensure residents are properly attired and covered for warmth, modesty, and comfort during transportation.
• As applicable, transports residents using wheelchair between their room and other rooms in the facility.

Desired Experience and Education

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care environment.
