Advanced Practice Provider OpportunitiesHCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children's is seeking two Advanced Practice Providers to join their growing Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Qualified candidates:Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programCurrent licensure and certification (BLS and PALS required; ACLS preferred)Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) experience preferredPlays a vital role in delivering high-quality, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric and adult congenital cardiac patientsWorks collaboratively with cardiologists, intensivists, surgeons, nurses, and other team members, the APP manages complex patients across the continuum of care—from admission through dischargeResponsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing medications and therapies. APPs participate in daily rounds, respond to emergencies, and provide procedural support as needed. They also facilitate communication with families, contribute to care coordination, and ensure smooth transitions between inpatient and outpatient settingsStrong clinical judgment and procedural skillsExcellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settingsFlexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call coverageIncentive/Benefits Package:When applicable, may be eligible for additional compensation if engaged to provide call coverage services and/or administrative servicesIn some circumstances, a minimum base guarantee, sign on/commencement, educational reimbursement, quality incentive, and/or relocation bonuses may be contemplated.
