Bonus Potential: Employee Referral & Quarterly Bonus. More about the role Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey, maintaining comfort and education throughout treatment. Conduct thorough reviews of patients’ health histories to provide quality care. Take and process X‑rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography). Provide superior chairside assistance in a four‑handed setting for a wide variety of procedures, in accordance with state dental practice act. Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping. Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations. Manage supply and inventory levels; place and expedite orders as needed. Partner with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. State‑issued Dental Assistant Permit & X‑ray Credentials. Minimum 2 years of Dental Assistant experience. Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software. Compliance & Confidentiality Access to PHI necessary for job functions; regular HIPAA training required. Must protect PHI and maintain data safeguards. Dental Knowledge, Software & Experience Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Business & Professional Skills Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment. Strong communication, organization and multitasking abilities. Adaptable to changing workflows and team dynamics. Detail‑oriented with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
