Labor Relations Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified Labor Relations Associate to join its expanding Labor & Employment practice in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of relevant Traditional Labor experience and will represent employers in labor-related matters in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies. Duties Represent employers in labor-related matters in state and federal courts. Handle proceedings before labor arbitrators and administrative agencies. Counsel clients on collective bargaining and labor arbitration. Manage union organizing campaigns, picketing, and strikes. Conduct representation proceedings and unfair labor practice investigations. Advise on compliance with employment laws and draft employment agreements. Requirements 6 to 8 years of Traditional Labor experience. Experience with NLRB representation proceedings and litigation. Active bar admission in Washington or Oregon, or ability to waive in. Excellent writing skills and strong academic credentials. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar admission in Washington or Oregon. Skills Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
