Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced RN with specialized skills in PACU and Cath Lab recovery to provide exceptional post-procedure care. The role involves supporting patients' recovery in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring safe and efficient post-operative transitions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly in PACU and Cath Lab recovery areas.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes according to facility protocols.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with surgical and radiology teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Prepare patients for transfer or discharge once recovery criteria are met.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrate prior experience in PACU and Cath Lab recovery settings.
• Show proficiency in vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and patient assessment.
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be flexible to work every other weekend and holiday rotations.
• Ability to work 13-week assignment from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
