50000 - 55000 per annumEssexPERMANENTElectrical Manager - Social HousingLocation: EssexSalary: 50,000 - 55,000 per annumContract: PermanentSector: Social Housing / Property ServicesAre you an experienced Electrical Manager looking for your next permanent opportunity within the social housing sector?We're currently working with a well-established housing organisation in Essex that is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Manager to lead and oversee electrical services across their housing stock.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in ensuring electrical works are delivered safely, compliantly and to a consistently high standard.The RoleAs Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical works and services across a portfolio of social housing properties, managing contractors and ensuring all works meet the required regulatory, safety and quality standards.You'll work closely with internal teams, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure electrical programmes are delivered effectively, while maintaining a strong focus on compliance, resident safety and customer satisfaction.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the delivery of electrical works across social housing properties.Overseeing contractors and monitoring performance against agreed KPIs and standards.Ensuring all electrical works comply with current legislation, regulations and industry standards.Managing planned, reactive and compliance-related electrical works.Monitoring budgets, expenditure and contract performance.Reviewing electrical reports, inspections, certification and remedial works.Identifying and managing risks associated with electrical compliance.Supporting procurement, contract mobilisation and contractor management.Working closely with internal property, housing and compliance teams.Providing technical advice and guidance on electrical matters.Producing performance and compliance reports for senior management.Ensuring resident safety and customer satisfaction remain at the heart of service delivery.About YouWe're looking for an experienced Electrical Manager or Senior Electrical professional with a strong background in social housing, housing maintenance or property services.You'll ideally have:Proven experience managing electrical works within social housing or a similar property environment.Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and relevant legislation.Experience managing contractors and external service providers.Good understanding of planned, reactive and electrical compliance works.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.Experience managing budgets and monitoring contractor performance.Relevant electrical qualifications and/or professional accreditation.The ability to work independently and confidently manage competing priorities.What's on Offer?50,000 - 55,000 salaryPermanent contractEssex-based positionOpportunity to work within an established social housing organisationA senior role with genuine responsibility and influenceThe opportunity to make a direct impact on electrical safety and housing standardsLong-term career development opportunitiesInterested?If you're an experienced Electrical Manager with a background in social housing, housing maintenance or property services and you're looking for your next permanent opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today with your CV, or contact us for a confidential conversation about the position.
