Cardiovascular Technologist (Relocation)

Overview There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. The Director is a servant‑leader at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and he is dedicated to the success of his team and the people of his community. This is a close‑knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated. The benefit of working here is that you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. Our Cath Labs offer state‑of‑art technology and medical devices. Responsibilities The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This position shift will be: 7am‑7pm = 3 12‑hour shifts + On‑Call (1 night a week and 1 weekend a month approximately every 3rd or 4th weekend = Friday night close of business to Monday 6am). Must report within 30 minutes. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy In lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) If no ARRT, then one of the following: FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification any of the four within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields BLS required ACLS required #J-18808-Ljbffr UF Health
