Located in scenic northwestern Wisconsin just 90 miles from Minneapolis, RLWS offers big city careers in a small-town atmosphere.At Rice Lake Weighing Systems, the Sr. Maintenance Technician troubleshoots and repairs all machine shop equipment. Includes: troubleshooting and repair CNC equipment, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, hydraulic systems; and repairing all standard shop equipment, i.e., lathes, mills, grinders, etc. Also, assists with all maintenance functions including setting-up new equipment, building fixturing as necessary for manufacturing departments, and general maintenance duties. Performs other functions as directed by the Supervisor.Qualifications/PrerequisitesEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Machine shop maintenance experience or equivalent maintenance.Experience with electro-mechanical equipment repairs.Experience with HVAC equipment repairs.Experience with electrical codes and standards preferred.Experience with robotic equipment preferred.Skills and AbilitiesAble to repair CNC and other shop equipment.Good welding skills.Good communications skills.Good blueprint reading skills.Experience with Robotic and Automation equipment preferred.Certificates, licenses, training, or other job-related requirementsNo current restrictions prohibiting regular lifting, bending, or twisting up to 50 lbs.No current restrictions prohibiting infrequent lifting, bending, or twisting up to 100lbs.Training and Certifications in maintenance disciplines strongly preferred.Valid Driver License required.RLWS is a successful, energetic, customer-driven organization that offers competitive wages, great working conditions, medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, disability, life, five (5) weeks of paid time off (PTO), ten (10) paid holidays, 401k, and wellness benefit programs.
