Job Details

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist physicians during deliveries and emergency procedures
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, newborn care, and recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Respond quickly and effectively in high-acuity situations
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatal teams, and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

Requirements

• Active RN License in North Dakota
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications required
• Strong fetal monitoring and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
