Desired Qualifications:
- Valid or pending Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license (will accommodate licensure process)
- Previous exposure to K-12 school environments is valued
- Experience in either school or healthcare settings as an SLPA
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassion, adaptability, and a child-centered approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support professionals to promote student progress
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document student performance and maintain compliance with all reporting requirements
- Adapt materials and activities to meet individual student needs across the K-12 spectrum
