Job Title

Travel RN – Critical Care Float Pool

Location

Albany, NY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 48 hours/week available

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple critical care environments including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Provide competent ICU-level care to patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows within a high-acuity, Level I Trauma Center setting
• Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and patient management
• Complete a required competency assessment within 24 hours of submission

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (New York license required or in process)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must not reside in ineligible local counties — only travelers are being accepted at this time

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting
• Demonstrated ability to float across multiple ICU specialties (Neuro, MICU, Cardiac, Vascular, Progressive Care)
• Comfort and clinical competency managing diverse, high-acuity critical care patient populations
