Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven therapeutic techniques to enhance motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their families by teaching effective therapy methods to support ongoing recovery at home.
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and adapt plans to ensure patients stay on track to meet their goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouraged participation in continuing education and post-graduate certification opportunities

Licensure

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Required certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
