In-Home Chef - Seattle

Down To Earth Cuisine is a personal chef service built around a simple idea: great food shouldn't require a restaurant grind. We're expanding our Seattle team and looking for an experienced chef who wants a Monday–Friday, daytime schedule instead of nights, weekends, and holidays. What you'll do: Design custom weekly menus based on each client's dietary needs and preferences Shop for fresh, quality ingredients at local markets Cook a week's worth of meals directly in the client's home kitchen Leave every kitchen as clean as you found it Submit a short daily job report and join periodic virtual team check-ins What you bring: 5+ years of professional cooking experience (3–4 years considered with strong culinary training) Formal culinary training or certification A calm, professional, client-facing communication style Comfort adapting to different kitchens, schedules, and client preferences Genuine interest in sustainable sourcing and practices Availability 15–25 hrs/week, primarily 8AM–6PM weekdays This is a great fit for a chef who's confident in the kitchen, enjoys variety, and takes real pride in service — not just food.
