Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room to join a dynamic surgical team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will be skilled in perioperative nursing care and comfortable working in fast-paced surgical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms with required instruments and sterile equipment
• Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures
• Monitor patient status and maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Support patient and family education regarding surgical care

Requirements

• Active RN license (state license in hand)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
