Warehouse AgentWarehouse Agents are responsible for building all galleys to the clients' specifications for all scheduled flights. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with time constraints to meet arrival and departure goals. A professional and positive image must be consistently displayed by the employee. "Lead by Example" concept is strongly promoted.Warehouse Agents must report to work on a regular and timely basis and report directly to the supervisor and/or manager on duty.Job DutiesBuild/strip commissary according to airline specs and schedules within established timelinesActively participates in the Safety Management System (SMS)Complete inventories according to airline requirementsUnderstand and comply with Canada Border Services Agency Memorandum D7-1-1 & D4-1-4Understand and comply with Transport Canada requirementsUnderstand and comply with IATA Food Safety requirementsActively participate in Sky Café's Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazard and incidents encountered in daily operations. Understand, comply with and promote the company Safety PolicyResponsible for maintaining safety and security of the warehouse at all timesAssist in set up, cleaning and storage of equipment & warehouseResponsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of food and goods, including loading and offloadingReceive, perform temperature testing and inspection of catering deliveries from our food service providerOperate forklift while observing safe procedures and maintenance of equipment, including the performance of equipment checksComply with all Sky Café and airline policiesConstantly communicate with other catering personnel, and respective airline communication centers if applicablePerforms other duties as requiredRequirementsBe at least 18 years of ageAbility to work on a permanent basis in CanadaObtain a clear criminal recordAbility to obtain necessary airport and/or Transport Canada security clearancesMust be capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 70lbs on a regular basisAbility to work within the required time parametersAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedulesMust successfully complete airline and corporate specific training programs and recertificationCore CompetenciesAble to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independentlyOperate Equipment in a safe and respectful mannerAble to work well under pressure and meet set deadlinesAttention to detail in all areas of workStrong work ethic and positive team attitude
