Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary Assists in outpatient adult and acute care SLP services including modified barium swallow studies. Minimum Requirements Master­s degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders. Current certification with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. Highly Desired Skills 2-3 years of relevant experience. Make a profound impact as you create and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Provide extensive education to patients, their families, and caregivers regarding their communication or swallowing disorder, prognosis, therapy techniques and home practice strategies. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals (e.g. physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupation therapists, audiologists, teachers) to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
