Territory Senior Sales Representative, Beef Monitoring - Upper Midwest - NE & IA

Merck Animal Health seeks a Senior Territory Sales Representative to drive beef cattle product sales across Nebraska and Iowa. The role involves managing territory-based customer relationships, promoting monitoring solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to execute regional sales strategies.

Responsibilities

Represent Animal Health product portfolio within assigned beef market segments across geographic territory
Identify and engage segment customers for Sense Hub monitoring adoption with technical support
Develop account-specific business plans and coordinate with regional management and distribution partners
Collaborate with Technical Service and Customer Success teams to create customized sales value propositions
Monitor sales performance monthly and manage expenses within established budget parameters

Requirements

High school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred
Five years relevant sales, livestock, or animal health experience with bachelor's degree; or ten years without degree
Minimum two years animal health sales experience in beef markets
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
Demonstrated account management, organizational, and business planning skills
Ability to travel overnight minimum 50% depending on geography
Willingness to reside within or within 20 miles of assigned territory
