Dental Assistant

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant role based in Natick, MA. The Dental Assistant will support dentists during a variety of clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, setting up instruments, and assisting chairside for restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments. Responsibilities include greeting and seating patients, reviewing basic health histories, supporting patient comfort, and providing post-treatment instructions under clinician guidance. The role also involves cleaning, organizing, and restocking operatories, sterilizing instruments and equipment, and adhering to infection control protocols. Additional tasks may include taking and processing dental radiographs as permitted, preparing materials and impressions, scanning, updating patient records, coordinating with front office staff, and contributing to a welcoming, professional patient experience. Office is general with perio twice per month Qualifications Strong clinical support skills in Dental Assisting and Dentistry, with experience assisting during a range of chairside procedures. Knowledge of Dental Care and Oral Care best practices, including patient education on home care and preventive treatments. Proficiency in Sterilization techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe, compliant clinical environment. Ability to work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff while maintaining a calm, patient-focused demeanor. Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job experience; current state-specific certifications and radiology permit are mandatory. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills, with reliability in a full-time, on-site schedule.
