As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Associate in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while responding to daily security-related needs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to enforce location rules, and communicate with hospital personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in a clear and timely manner, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
