POSITION OVERVIEW:

By applying the nursing process, you will deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient-centered care. You will coordinate patient care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. It is essential to communicate the patient's clinical status appropriately, responding swiftly and accurately to any changes in their condition or treatment response. You will demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, ensuring age-appropriate care for the patient population served. Additionally, you will advocate for the nursing profession and engage in professional practice through supportive interactions with colleagues. This position reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a current nursing license in the State of Connecticut.

• Must possess certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or obtain certification during the introductory orientation period, maintaining clinical competency throughout employment in this role.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are required.

• Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
